Our family-owned business, the Hotel Tornácos *** Superior, welcomes all its Guests in the immediate vicinity of the Fertő-Hanság National Park who wish to find ways for physical and mental relaxation. The hotel's founders, the family Hospely, committed themselves to hospitality at the highest level in 1996, with an unwavering desire for constant renewal and development. We await our guests in Hegykő, right next to the bicycle path around Lake Fertő at two locations: in a traditional and in a more modern environment.
The 22 comfortable, tastefully furnished rooms in our main building, the permanent and seasonal offerings of our restaurant and the pampering services in the wellness - SPA department offer countless opportunities for complete relaxation and recreation. Among the wide variety of cultural- and excursion programs within and beyond the border, everyone finds something suitable: either eventful and active recreation or quiet relaxation.
The building bearing the stylistic features of the folk architecture of the Fertő region, is the result of thoughtful design work.
The atmosphere of our house, the unique style and harmony are to be thanked to the work of the Ybl-award-winning designer couple József Koller and Teréz Zámbó as well as to the efforts of folk craftsmen Alajos Kovács, Terka Patonai, Ferenc Brodzky and many more of the neighboring villages.
By staying in one of the ten modernly designed rooms of our LifeStyle Hotel, opened in 2020, our guests might feel even closer to the natural beauties of the Fertő-Hanság region. After stepping out from a quiet and minimalist environment, we can enjoy the comfort of the swimming pond, the sauna house and the jacuzzi as well as the exclusive relaxation igloo while taking a strall through the eye-catching park. There is a playground for the little ones, a hobby soccer pitch for sportlovers and a sand- and grass lawn for sunbathing and relaxing in deck chairs. In 2024 we are expanding our LifeStyle Hotel with a panorama-terrace as it is becoming increasingly popular for family gatherings and groups of friends: in summer it is the idyllic setting for hosting live-music evenings, wine tastings, themed dinners and dream-like lakeside weddings.
The complex services of the main building are only 150 meters away; both the restaurant and the wellness area can be reached with a short walk. The public thermal bath of the village next door also attracts many people to Hegykő seeking relaxation all year round.
Popular among locals and visitors from far and beyond, our restaurant endeavors to create meals from the region's unique and plentiful ingredients in a variety of ways, providing visitors with an unforgettable culinary experience. Our blue-print room, winter garden, amber room and the terraces are ideal locations for family get-togethers, celebrations, themed dinners, art exhibitions as well as corporate events. It is a particular pleasure for us to be able to fulfill individual wishes, may it be about a smaller event or a lavish wedding on the lakeside. There is lots of fun for our little guests in a cosy playroom in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant.
From April to October, our Streetfood Box is located in front of our restaurant, right on the bike path. It can be a perfect choice for our Guests who want to enjoy fresh, carefully prepared, delicacies of high quality and with faster service.

Hegykő
Hegykő is located in a particularly beautiful region of the Fertő landscape - in the embrace of the Small Plain, the Mountains of Sopron and the Alps - next to the shore of the Fertő lake surrounded by reeds.
The Fertő landscape and, as part of it, the lake itself - which is about 20 thousand years old and is the third largest still water in Central Europe - is also part of the world heritage. 4/5 of the water surface of the Hungarian part and half of the Austrian part is covered by reeds, which is a bird's paradise of European importance.
As part of the Fertő-Hanság National Park, it is a popular tourist destination all year round thanks to its medicinal salt concentrated thermal water, thermal bath and beautiful surroundings. Due to its proximity to the Austrian border, it is a popular destination among both Hungarian and foreign guests.
