Heli
For Heli, the essence of hospitality lies in connecting with people. What motivates her every day is seeing guests leave satisfied, with enjoyable experiences. Particularly important to her is the attentiveness that goes beyond basic service: a kind word, a smile or a small gesture. The family-like atmosphere at Tornácos also means a lot to her, especially when she meets returning guests. The relationships built over the years are what make this work truly meaningful for her.
Gábor
Gábor knew from a young age that he wanted to work in the world of hospitality. What he loves most about serving is the direct contact with guests and the fact that every day brings a new experience. For him, good service is built on attentiveness, humor and connection. At Tornácos, he especially values the relationships formed with returning guests and the atmosphere that is created together with the team.
“There’s no such thing as an average day,” they say with a smile.
And it’s true: every day is different. Different guests arrive, the morning or evening unfolds at a different pace, and something unexpected always happens. Sometimes it’s all about the rush, other times there’s more time for preparation – but the common point of every day is always the guests.
“A kind word, a smile, a small gesture of attention can mean a lot,” say Gábor and Heli, waiters at Tornácos.
“That’s the extra you can’t put on a menu, yet it defines the experience.”
“The atmosphere at Tornácos is also shaped by the fact that not only occasional guests visit us. Many return – and over time they become familiar faces. There are even guests who come with their children, and we watch them grow up before our eyes.”
