LACE MUSEUM IN HEGYKŐ

In the museum near the church, just 800 meters from Hotel Tornácos, more than a hundred examples of lace art from Hövej are exhibited. The house itself, which is more than 100 years old, is also a curiosity: thanks to its ovens and historic rooms, visitors can take a journey back in time.

In the Lace Museum you can see the lace exhibition entitled 'From Cradle to Grave' by Istvánné Szigethy, master of folk art.

'This treasure is ours, we must keep it alive!' In one of the oldest houses in the settlement, the values ​​of the past are brought to life in addition to the presentation of the beautiful lace.

The works of the famous masters from Rábaköz, the potter Csilla Ángyán from Csorna and the wood carver Jenő Pintér from Bogyoszló can also be seen.
