CASTLE SZÉCHENYI IN NAGYCENK

After several years of renovation, the castle reopened its doors to Visitors in December 2023! In Hungary's largest memorial museum, both Széchenyi's work and his home are brought to life through exciting, interactive elements.

From March 15, 2023, visitors are welcome to the renewed castle park, which was thought up by Count István Széchenyi. In addition to the striking natural treasures, a newly designed playground makes families' stay in the park even more pleasant.

Places of Széchenyi heritage that can be visited: Széchenyi Mausoleum, 'Hársfasor', István Széchenyi Memorial Museum.

The thematic playground consists of elements related to István Széchenyi: the chain bridge, horse riding and sericulture also feature - of course in the form of climbing frames, swings and slides. The castle park can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You can also take a guided tour of the park and stables every day at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

1st April - 30th September:
