PARISH GARDEN IN HIDEGSÉG

A true Garden of Eden in Hidegség, about 3.6 kilometers from Hotel Tornácos, is the so-called Priestgarden. The special feature of the garden is the 21 springs that arise here resulting in a special natural landscape with many protected species of plants and animals.

In 2020, the parish garden was renovated as a sacred, meditative and tourist place.

As you walk through the garden, you can listen to the gurgling of the springs, the chirping of the birds and the splashing of frogs into the ponds. The information boards along the walking paths introduce the botanical features of the garden, and Bible quotes can also be used to create an opportunity for meditation while resting on the benches around the path.
